Jeff 
Manto

Jeff Manto, a native of Bristol Borough,Pa. is in the midst of a 38 year Professional Baseball Career, 16 years as a player and 22 more as a coach and Minor League Coordinator. During his playing days, Jeff was a member of 3 World Series teams, the '93 Phillies, '97 Indians, and '99 Yankees. He was a 2 time Minor League MVP, the Texas League in 1988 and the International League in 1994. Jeff still shares 2 American League records, 4 consecutive home runs and 5 home runs in 3 days.

Jeff is one of only 3 players in the 103 year history of the Buffalo Bisons to have his number retired and has been inducted into 9 Hall of Fames including Bristol High School, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Temple University, Buffalo Bisons, Greater Buffalo Sports, Rochester Red Wings, Trenton Baseball HOF, and the International League.

 

As a Major League coach, he guided Freddy Sanchez to the 2006 NL Batting title and Adam Dunn to Comeback Player of the Year in 2012. He managed the Trenton Thunder of the MLB Draft League to the inaugural season championship. Jeff ushered into the Major League Amateur draft 9 college and High School players and has created hitting plans for individual players & entire organizations at both the minor league & major league levels. 

 

As a coaching consultant, Jeff has worked with players, teams and coaches from six (6) countries across 5 continents including Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Mexico Japan, Korea, and Canada. Jeff established the Bristol 30's travel baseball team and has consulted many travel baseball teams and leagues. He has served as a Consultant and Director for the Jeff Manto’s Big Leagues and Consultant for Manto Player Development Center and PDC Baseball.
